As for not having a floppy Posted September 10, Posted July 20, I can also tell that the disc is not spinning up like it should. I just cant downgrade my bios I get this board and want to use 2 seperate drives I tried putting in a Windows 7 install disc, and it won’t boot from it either, although once I got the “Loading files for setup” progress bar, but it never filled, and the activity light is not flashing.

Posted July 29, One thing that is important to note is that even though your drives will come up working without installing the drivers, they will be operating in IDE mode. So, thanks again for the great suggestion. USB Boot also doesn’t work either.

Vista installation is almost too easy If you already have, grab the older I think bios from open drivers and flash back down to the old one to fix the issue. I never had problems with BIOS updates on this motherboard.

If that doesn’t work, I suppose I’ll dump the board and try something else. Now, I’ve your Bios installed. I might have to check this one, but I pretty much leave the configurations at the default. Unfortunately, the DP35DP does not support a floppy drive. On Vista, I just used a sandisk microSD stick thingee to install the raid drivers.
